Our purpose
About JewTLA
Connection, knowledge, and solidarity for Jewish and pro-Israel educators across Los Angeles.
JewTLA is a professional home for Jewish and pro-Israel educators across Los Angeles. We connect colleagues, share practical knowledge, and make sure no educator has to navigate antisemitism alone.
Who we serve
An educator-only network.
Membership is open to current educators, retired educators, and adult students preparing for education work. Members do not need to be Jewish; they do need a genuine connection to education and alignment with JewTLA’s Shared Values.
What we build
Belonging with practical purpose.
JewTLA brings educators together for trusted conversation, professional learning, useful resources, peer support, and responsible leadership across school communities.
Independent and educator-led
Built for the people doing the work.
JewTLA is not an official LAUSD or UTLA website. It is an educator-led network designed around the realities teachers, staff, and education professionals encounter every day.
